Compliance Officer
Job Summary
As a Compliance Officer, you’ll be a key part of making sure everything we deliver meets the highest standards. You’ll help keep our retrofit, decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and renewable projects on track by ensuring they’re fully compliant from start to finish.
This role is all about maintaining quality, supporting the team, and making sure we’re doing things the right way — without overcomplicating things.
Daily Responsibility
Keeping an eye on compliance across all projects, making sure we meet regulations, standards, and accreditations like PAS 2030, PAS 2035, TrustMark, and MCS
Checking project documents, site records, installations, and designs to ensure everything lines up with requirements
Working closely with Retrofit Coordinators, Designers, Surveyors, and Project Managers to quickly spot and resolve any compliance issues
Supporting audits and accreditation processes, including getting documents ready and helping with site visits
Staying up to date with regulations, standards, and best practices across the retrofit and sustainability space
Helping to build and improve our QA and compliance processes so things run smoothly and consistently
Making sure products and materials meet the right standards, certifications, and warranties
Sharing knowledge with the team — offering guidance and helping others understand compliance requirements
Spotting potential risks early and helping put solutions in place before they become issues
About you
You’ll have experience in compliance within retrofit, energy efficiency, or renewables, and a good understanding of the relevant standards and accreditation schemes. You’re organised, detail-focused, and proactive — someone who takes pride in getting things right.
You’re also approachable and collaborative. We’re a supportive, close-knit team, so being able to communicate clearly and work well with others (including external auditors) is just as important as your technical knowledge.
Experience with audits and accreditations is a big plus, and any qualifications related to compliance, building regulations, or quality management will help you stand out.
Why join us?
We care about doing high-quality work, but we also care about the people doing it. You’ll be part of a team that supports each other, shares knowledge, and takes pride in delivering projects properly. If you want to play a key role in making sure our work stands up to the highest standards, you’ll fit right in.
